The Practice – Esmond Reid Associates
The work is in two related parts, building and consultancy. In building, mainstay projects range from alteration and repair of houses through to repair and maintenance of large residential blocks and commercial buildings. In consultancy, projects include simple building condition surveys through to research, survey and reporting for established corporate bodies and government.

The practice is in west London, at ‘The Courtyard’, Victorian buildings Esmond renovated as studios in 1989. It is home to a creative, professional community amongst whom are other architects and surveyors, often working in collaboration.

Services include
  • Building survey and project feasibility
  • Building alteration, design and repair
  • Party wall and other advisory services
  • Wider research and consultancy
and with other firms at The Courtyard
  • Building cost advice
  • Architectural film and AV production
